varjakclaw: I exchanged a glance with smolder.

Smolder shrugged, as if to say I don't know what he's planning.

Darkstar hissed and pinned lunafur down, claws unsheathed. "If you Ever Do that again, I swear I'll hurt you and Lizardkit."

"Darkstar!" Smolder yelled, taking a step forward. "There's no need-"

"Hush. I Know what I'm doing." Darkstar hissed.

Varjakclaw: "What's so important about this Lizardkit?" I whispered to Smolder.

Smolder didn't answer him. I don't want to hurt his relationship with luna..I want him to be happy....

"You wouldn't." Luna hissed. "Silver wouldn't let you."

Darkstar hissed. "Your right, But I could still hurt you." He snarled, digging his claws into luna.

Luna winced at the pain. "Go ahead. I have nothing to live for anymore.." She whispered.

Smolder took a step forward. I won't let him hurt her.

Varjakclaw: "She doesn't have anything to live for because Rowan is dead and she doesn't love me." I hissed out loud. WHO IS LIZARD!? I hissed at myself.

Varjak's words cut luna like a knife, and she braced herself to be killed.

"What do you think your doing?" Hawkstar hissed, slamming into darkstar and knocking him off of lunafur. "Don't touch my deputy."

Varjakclaw: I snorted and padded away.

Smolder followed him, and once they were out of earshot from the others, called out to him. "Varjak, Wait!"

Luna got up and shook her pelt, eyes stlll glazed over and she almost looked like she was an unmoving corpse forced to function. She glanced at hawkstar and left.

Hawkstar hissed at darkstar and headed back to frostclan.

"Hey! Wait up, Luna." A Calico tom huffed, catching up with the she-cat.

"Who are you?" Luna said emotionlessly.

The tom tilted his head. "Huh? You mean you don't remember me?" He meowed. "My name's soulspirit, Rowan's friend."

Luna hissed, annoyed. "Don't say that name.."

Soul's eyes darkened. "I heard what happened from snakefang. I'm..Sorry.."

"Why? It's my fault." Luna pointed out, and they were silent for a moment.

"Listen, Rowan told me if anything happened to him that he wanted me to protect you like he did, So that's what I'm going to do."

"I don't need your protection."

"I don't care; I'm doing it wether you like it or not."

(Varjak may have to kill Soul too!)

Varjakclaw: "Yes?" I turned around politely.

"Yes she does, which is why she left her kit and rowan." Smolder meowed. "She left them so she could be with you."

Once luna and soul had reached frostclan, they walked up to hawkstar.

"I want to join your clan." Soul meowed to hawkstar.

Varjakclaw: "If I stayed in DarkClan... it would be so much better. I could be with you... maybe even deputy! Unlike Warshadow... Darkstar's my father! And Dapplestar was my uncle! I have more blood in my KinClan... but DarkClan has so much more to offer me." I looked into Smolder's green eyes. If you stayed you could have been my heir! Gotten it all! But you blew it for that she cat! Darkstar's words echoed in my mind. "I wish I could come back. But I have an apprentice now."

"If your serious, join darkclan again." Smolder challenged. There's no way he'd accept! Then he'll relalize he's better off with lunafur and he'll be happy again! She planned in her thoughts. "Your appretice can get a new mentor."

Varjakclaw: "But I need to train Stormpaw... she has a destiny. You remember, I told you the prophecy!"

My plan is working so far! Smolder thought. "Maybe i could join your clan. you know, maybe like Soul did? I bet he's with luna right now. But, you don't care about her anymore, right? So you wouln't mind if soul becomes her new mate?"

Varjakclaw: That stung. "I hate Lunafur. But I want her to be miserable too... I'll kill Soul, too!" My fur bristled.

He's obviosuly jealous..Right? I can't even tell anymore. Smolder thought. "You can't kill everyone who comes near luna. What if your leader came near her? Would you kill him to?"

Varjakclaw: "Hawkstar won't come near Lunafur. I know that much. I'm already destined for the Dark Forest after killing Rowanstorm. So I will kill any cat that comes close to Luna... and maybe life would be easier if we were in the same clan."

..He's...He's..Serious....He'll...He'll kill anyone...? Smolder found herself begenning to tremble, and she forced herself to relax. "Varjak-"

Thorn sharp teeth digged into the back of smolder's neck, causing her breathing to turn ragged.

"What..?" She huffed, eyes wide with fear.

Redstorm bit down into the she-cat's neck.

Varjakclaw: I hissed at my Clan-mate. "What, Redstorm?"

Smolder's breathing slowed and her eyes drifted closed- She wasn't dead, but close to it.

Redstorm dropped her limp body covered in blood. " I found out who killed sharktail." He hissed. "I'm on my way to kill hawkstar, an I'll murder anyone who stops me."

Varjakclaw: I remember when Dapplestar told me who... "G-good..." I meowed, pretending. "Who was it! I'll help you...." I struggled not to claw his ears off for hurting Smolder.

"Hmm?" Redstorm said, caught offguard. "Why do you care about sharktail?" His eyes narrowed.
