A darkness that is not quite black, nor any other color spreads along her muzzle and down each slim leg, ending at the base of her tail. From there, bands of a deep blue-purple slice the black, the color so close to the darkness that you can only see the blues and violets in the moonlight. The inside of each ear has a purple sheen, and the pads on each paw are a deep blue.
White bands surround each paw, ending about two pawlengths from the base of each leg, where they fade into tiny, vine-like markings that swirl up the rest of her legs then end in tiny white tendrils.
An ugly red scar mars the she-wolves face, and a snakeskin patch covers her right eye. Her left eye is a pale silver, haunting and shadowed. A silver chain is half-hidden in her dark fur, surrounding her neck. A tiny charm in the shape of a teardrop with a rainbow gemstone in the middle hangs from the chain, visible only when her fur is parted, or she reveals the chain.
Personality
A secretive, hidden wolf. Atrethe was abused as a pup, so she trusts nothing and no-one.

| The black wolf stepped into the sunlight, blinking. Faint purple-blue bands could just be seen on her tail, breaking up the black fur there. She glanced around the clearing with her single eye, then saw the source of the voice. | |
