- I n v i s i b l e s - Based of the Uglies trilogy - Chapter One!

It's quite hilarious, actually, how insane this world could be. First, the Rusties die out. There use of metal was totally brain-missing, and they ended up blowing up each other with toxic bombs and silly things like that. After a few years, time advanced. Then came Prettytime. With the greatest technology, Specials protected their city of genetically altered "bubblehead" teenagers. Everyone, at age sixteen, became unbelievably pretty and flawless. No acne or blemishes, smooth skin and beautiful smiles, all during one surgery. But during this surgery, cancerous lesions were transmitted into your brain, making you utterly clueless, happy, and bubbly.
Totally bogus, right?
It gets even weirder. Specials were also altered, their cruel features terrifyingly beautiful. They were also changed, with moments of superiority and anger to go with their pitch black eyes, sharp, clawed nails and razor like teeth. (If you are wondering, they were, yes, considered crazy). No one knew of any of this, except for the Smokies (rebellious uglies), and a few select people, including Tally Youngblood.
Ah, Tally. An interesting subject. She brought down the Prettytime reign, curing everyone of their brain damage, either a Special or Pretty, besides herself. This was called the mind-rain. She disappeared into the wild with a former Smoky named David, keeping the new world from becoming Rusties again.
Years later, tech-heads started to form. With the greatest technology and cliques, it was a whole new world full of surges. Eyescreens, hovercams and hoverboards, spinning, animated tattoos, and many bubbly groups and cliques including Radical Honestly, where your brain was fixed so you couldn't lie, and the Rangers, where you saved runaways of other cities. The choices were unlimited. You were either famous, with a high face-rank, or a simple Uglie, with a low face rank. Face ranks are a rating every person gets through one and one million. For awhile Tally Youngblood remained number one most famous person, but was never seen. Then Aya Fuse came along. As a low Uglie and face rank nearing four hundred thousand, she was a nobody. Until she started train surfing with a mysterious clique and discovering the inhumans, odd, unhuman creatures that are floating, glowing, robot-like things. She unexpectedly met up with Tally Youngblood and the other Cutters (Tally's group of cured Specials), to find out what these creatures were up too.
Turns out they were trying to save the world, just like Tally and Aya by using rockets to propel all metal into orbit to start a new world in space. Aya, Tally, and their companions quickly kicked this story, and it was the new rage.
Now we get to my time. Suddenly, the inhumans (Or Extras, which they prefer), are disappearing. Tally Youngblood and Aya Fuse are both dead, killed during their adventures after that. Tally had been the last uncured but good Special, so the new number one face rank was different, which we'll get to later. All the rockets are also missing. It's baffling everyone, but no one has the guts to investigate. Life goes on as before the Extras, with face ranks and feeds (Like Twitter and Facebook, or whatever Rusties use to call it). Though something is going wrong. people disappear, then return with no memory whatsoever of the Extras, or anything about Aya and Tally. No one knows, or cares about what is happening.
Now, this is where I come in.
