Eternal Essence

It was an icy, October 27th, 2001 when Sarah and Thomas Parker’s car went off the side of the interstate bridge in Maplewood, Washington, causing the deaths of the couple. Maplewood, Washington, having a reputation for being a charming, safe town, was in the newspaper headlines for weeks, talking about the crash. But they weren’t talking about the couple in their mid-forties, they were talking about the daughter, Kalie Parker, that was apparently in the car with them during the time of the crash. The car wasn’t found until early the next morning, and the girl was no where to be found. Despite the feverish attempts to find the fifteen year old, she was never seen again. There were many theories to what happened to the girl, some say that she sabotaged the car and jumped out just before the car lost control and spun off the bridge on that chilly fall day, some came to the conclusion that she managed to escape the wrecked car, and died somewhere shortly afterwards due to severe injuries, neither are correct.
Kalie Parker is one of the few people in the world that is an immortal, she inherited the ability to live forever from generations, and generations back, the ability skips every ten generations or so. Kalie escaped the wrecked car, confused as to how she was alive. Kalie stumbled back to a local café, to get help, but realized her injuries were gone. Kalie had found a book a few years back, buried in a box full of antiques from her supposed ancestors that talked about immortality, and she had dubbed it a load of garbage. Kalie discovered that she had other abilities as well, which played a part in the fact that she was never found, Kalie has lived on the streets for the past nine years, until she ran into other children, with abilities similar to her’s. They decide to stick together, against the wishes of some, and try to figure out how to survive while they’re being stalked by, unknown to them, other children that want to use their immortality and extra abilities to attempt to take over the world.
Will you join the fight?

OOC:. One of the Longest Forms I've done in a while. xDD

Full Name -
Katerine Liv Grimoire
Gender -

Female
Age -

16
Description -

Katerine (Pronounced 'Catherine', but goes by Liv) Grimoire is quite a particular looking girl. With long hair that is naturally a dark reddish brown, but has white and blonde chunks in it, not to mention the blood red ones, and piercing emerald green eyes, something about her true appearance seems... a bit off. Standing a tall 5'6, and having a well built to normal body-type, it would come no surprise to you that she is skinny from the way she has grown up. Usually wearing clothing ranging from shorts to jeans, and tees to long-sleeved shirts, there is one thing you will always find this girl wearing... Well, two really. One is her pair of black converse, beat-up from the road and practically falling apart, but she doesn't care. They are what keeps her grounded, so to speak. The second item is a black cord necklace, with a detailed piece charm on it, with various swirls and dots to make it look like an intricate bead. She never takes her necklace off, for fear of loosing it.
Personality -

Knowing that Liv has a different appearance, you would think she would be quirky and a bit insane, but she is quite serious when the time calls for it, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a crazy side. Since she came from a very complex background, Liv has learned to shut down completely when she is trying to figure out how to go about doing something. Whether that be something as simple as stealing food for the day, or something as large as moving her things. She has also learned how to shut people completely out of her life when she wishes too, and when she doesn't want anyone knowing what her plans are, or generally what she's thinking. If the rare chance comes where Liv begins to trust you, and you stab her in the back, you will not see the next day. With a fierce and loyal undertone to her personality, you could compare her to the shows when a lion attacks it's prey. She's vicious, and she won't hold back on you until your dead. Likewise, Liv can be slightly gullible, willing to do almost anything if it means she can be around people like her, this is contradictory to her being closed off, but this is what created her fierce side. All in all, Liv is multiple personalities, which steams from many different situations she has been in.
Background -
Katerine Liv Grimiore did not grow up normally, in the slightest bit. Born and raised in the moors of England, with her family and friends, you would think her life would have gone about normally, but she quickly learned that her life wasn't normal, nor perfect, would it ever be. At the age of fourteen, Liv could tell her perfect life was coming to an end, and her parents were starting to hint at darker things from their past. One day, she was in her room and she heard something going on downstairs. No one was supposed to be coming over, and her parents had been heading out to the garden to pick some vegetables. Quickly standing, the younger version of Liv had darted downstairs just in time to watch her parents be brutally murdered by three men. But before she could escape they spotted her and converged on her, ready to get rid of her too, but when Liv lashed out at them, and one of the men stabbed her with his knife and Liv rip it out of her chest and keep fighting the men, they got spooked, but it was too late. That day, she finished off her parent's killers and sat sobbing beside their bodies until she realized that she no longer had wounds anymore. Knowing a bit of her family history, Liv made her way through her house, getting a bag together of things she would need, bits and pieces of her old life, and non-perishable food she would be able to take along with her. Her last name was Grimiore, the name of a Witch's book of spells, and now she knew why.
Powers -
Aside from her Immortality power, which comes with the ability to live forever and to heal from almost any injury, Liv has two distinct powers that come from her family history. It turns out, in the eighteenth century, Liv's family was big on witchcraft, and so forth, some of them were burned at the stake in Salem when the trials were being held. This being, Liv has the power to control any physical element, which seems like a large power, but when you break it up, she is really only limited to fire and rocks, which tend to form together on occasions to make lava, but this gives her a huge weakness to any type of water, meaning that if her unnaturally high core temperature were to get iced or fall below a certain point, it could mean death for her, but then again, it keeps her warm in the winter months. In addition to this elemental power, even though it might be a bit limited, she can still control small things of water and air. This being, Liv has for different 'Witch forms' that she transforms into when she is using those powers.
First and fore-most, her main power with fire keeps turns her hair a blood red (matching her highlights) but keeps general appearance the same, except for the fact that her eyes turn a bright blood red with black flecks, and her clothes burn up in the head she's creating, giving her a tattered appearance. Her rock power completely takes the red and white out of Liv's hair and makes it a dusty brown color, making her eyes a light beige and her clothes look dirty after she uses the rock with her ability. Her Water ability is by far the coolest, changing her hair to a snow white and her eyes to a misty seafoam green that sometimes look blue in the right light. Her clothes tend to get a little wet when she uses this power, because she can breathe underwater for a period of thirty minutes only when activated, and it makes her very light-headed. Last but most certainly not least, Liv's air power changes her hair to a golden blonde and her eyes to a very light and airy blue, giving her the abilty to control the wind limited and being able to lift things, almost like telekenesis, but it's limited to light people (which makes her extremely tired), though, strangely, if she is happy and content and wants to raise into the air, she can call on the wind to help her lightly float into the air, as if she was flying, without any side effect at all.
Liv's second power is the ability to read anything and bring it to life, or make it real. Meaning that if she picked up a 'Harry Potter' book and read a line where Victor Krum was about to run through a door, he would appear and run through a door, likewise, if she reads a cookbook, she has the ability to conjure the food. Though, the drawback to this power is that she can't turn it off, making her wary to use it ever. Besides, the food doesn't taste that good anyway.
Side -

Good
Other -

Awesome RP Branchie! =D

OOC:. EDIT! Here are my two other forms. xD

Full Name -
Jacob Samuel Smith
Gender -
Male
Age -
14
Description -
With dark russet colored skin and deep brown eyes to match, when Jacob looks at you, you kind of want to melt. Coupleing with his eyes and skin, he has dark brown hair to match and a sweet smile when he shows it. Taller and leaner than most fourteen year olds, Jacob is fairly muscled and likes to keep it that way, wearing mostly jean shorts or normal jeans with white tee shirts or black tee shirts, depending on whether or not he's in a foul mood. Jacob has one pair of tattered tennis shoes that look like their about to fall apart, but he refuses to get rid of them because of how much he likes them, and how well they've served him while he's been on the run. Since Jacob is taller, he tends to tower over most people at an amazing 6'2 inches, he doesn't mind though, because when you see him, you might think he looks tough, but in all reality, he's like a giant teddy bear.
Personality -
Contrary to what you might think, Jacob has the warmest and happiest personality you could meet. If he's not giving you a small smile, or generally bringing the mood of the people up around him, there must be something wrong. Though he's been mixed up with the wrong crowd for years, Jacob tries to keep himself positive, saying that this is the only way to solve all the problems. Though, Jacob can be quite gullible if you try to convince him of something, which might have to do with the side he's currently on. Poor Jacob only knows that he has to protect himself in the world of humans, because of the things Mason and the others have taught him, about being the only ones that can survive in the uprising. Somewhere, under all of this, he still keeps his humanity and sanity by trying to cheer up everyone around him when they're talking about particuarally gruesome details of their plans.
Background -
Jacob was born and raised in America, around Washington, near the water, where he grew up as a very atheletic person, always swimming and being generally a bit of a dare-devil, jumping off rocks near the water and hiking through the nearest woods during the night, knowing that there were bears and other animals just waiting to jump out and try and kill him. Jacob has never known his mother, but had two sisters and his father before the accident. When Jacob was only born, there was a car accident with his mother and father, his mother died, and his father lost the movement in his legs, this caused Jacob to grow up under his sister's care and learn how to take care of his father when he was sick. When Jacob turned fourteen, he learned that his sisters (twins) who had gone off to college, had been a part of a school shooting, meaning that he lost them both. In grief, his father and Jacob traveled up to the campus to confront the shooter in jail, and the shooter somehow got a hold of a knife and killed Jacob's father in front of him. Freaking out and lashing out, Jacob was stabbed straight through the heart and was pronounced dead at the scene, until he woke up in the morgue. Now he covers up his crazy past with his happy demeanor.
Powers -
Jacob, to no surprise, has the ability to transform into a wolf, but not just any wolf. He has the ability to transform into something like a werewolf. Larger and generally scarier than a normal wolf, his fur is a corse brown and he stands about the size of a horse or a bear, and it's probably the most terrifying thing you'll ever see. With teeth and claws that can tear apart steal, he's generally a powerhouse, in this form, but if you catch him off guard, you can bring Jacob down in a few swift blows to his legs of underbelly.

His second power is extreme senses, while in his human form, Jacob can hear, see, smell, and taste things from miles away and turn it off and on accordingly to what he wants to do. This also causes problems, because Jacob can hear a lot of things that he doesn't want to, and it gives him massive headaches if he can't just focus on one set of smells or one sole conversation. It has to be completely silent where ever he is for him to focus on this power, or it over-powers him and he gets disoriented.
Side -
Bad
Other -
Vixxy, I have a feeling Lidia and him will become good friends. xD

Full Name -
Alexander Damon Salvariore (Sal-VI-Or)
Gender -
Male
Age -
Fifteen
Description -
Damon has cropped jet black hair that's shaggy and gives him an air of mystery about him. Streaked with so much darker black hair, and feathered a bit, you could compare his hair to a raven's feathers, ironically. With piercing misty blue eyes, that give him an almost ghostly air around him to add to the mystery, it's really no surprise his skin is paler than most. With a tall and lean figure with a very muscled backbone, you would want to stay away from him for how he dresses sometimes. Damon wears jeans and black tees mostly, with a leather jacket that he stole from a store back when he was on the run, coupled with a pair of (epic) black shades and huge black boots. He keeps his eyes covered even inside, and always wears his boots for a quick get-away. Though, he has been seen in dress shirts with black slacks and jackets, he only brings those out when something important is going on, and you would never see him in those without a cause, or a girl to impress.
Personality -

Like I stated in his description, from the outside you might think twice about going up to Damon, and that would be a pretty goo thing to do. STAY AWAY. Coming from more than any person should handle in their life, Damon learned early that if you want to survive in this world, you have to protect yourself and leave anyone else to fend for themselves, because even if you help them, they're going to stab you in the back. Mostly back-talking anyone and everyone he meets and being a smart-alec with sarcasm to others, it's really not that fun to be around him when he's in one of his 'moods'. Damon has a hard time with being sincere, tending to just go off and made snide remarks to people and sneer, though you can tell sometimes that he really wants to be nice, and there is something deep down that can come out rarely, to people he truely cares for. You could describe him as hard, never displaying any of his innner thoughts or talking about anything personal. It's very hard to crack him open, and no one has done it, yet.
Background -

All I can think to say is poor Damon. Raised sometime in the colonial times, he's been around for quite a long time, well, him and his brother. To start from the beginning, Damon and his brother were the sons of a very wealthy businessman that moved to America when there were first settling towns. Damon and his brother liked to get in trouble together, and one night they met and fell for the same girl when they were only fifteen. To show her how much each of them liked her, they each went into the woods to find and kill the biggest thing they could find to take back to her family and offer it to them as a sort of gift. While in the woods, Damon heard struggling and turned the corner to find his brother trying to fight off a bear. Scared and generally defenseless, Damon's brother was loosing badly, and the bear took one last swipe and roared before finishing him off. Damon turned and fought the bear hand to hand until it swiped him across the chest and tried to snap his neck, but Damon was too quick, and healed instantly, standing back off and finishing the bear off with no problem. From then, he ran, living off the land and watching the years pass by, changing with each culture that came, until now, always being an Immortal, and being alone.
Powers -
Damon has the power of controlling the mind, if he focuses, which he really doesn't like to do, but it's a handy power. He can erase and edit a person's mind without getting muddled in their trivial thoughts and still control them. When he does this, his pupils and eyes tend to get larger as he sifts through their mind and accesses the parts he wants to control and leaves the parts that he does, though the one drawback to this power is that he can't really access a mind that wants to block him out without trying so hard he drains his power.

Damon's second power is that he can transform into any bird, though his favorite is a raven. This makes it handy because he can communicate with other birds and fly anywhere he wants too, this also gives him the added abilities of a bird, with amazing eyesight, and hearing, but it leaves him vunerable to any hunter or animal that sees him and decides that they want a raven sitting somewhere in their house, or stomach. Though Damon is a very quick witted bird and has tricked many people in his life, though there was that one time in China... well, we won't go there.
Side -
He switchs a lot. I wouldn't put your money on which side.
Other -
Oh Branch, I think Kalie and Damon will get along, just fine. ;D

Full Name -
Lidia Hawn Myer

Gender -
Female

Age -
Fourteen

Description -
The first two things you might notice when you first see Lidia Hawn Myer is her height and her hair. The girl only stands about five feet or so, but just hasn't hit her real growth spurt yet. Her hair is a fiery, bright aburn or redish color. She loves dying her hair constantly, and right now it has streaks of neon pink and highlighter yellow in it. Her hair falls just past her shoulder blades, a little ways from her hips. Lidia's eyes are a light pale blue, with visile shards of sea green. Her eyes change color often (See 'powers') but that's their main color, so to speak. Lidia, a.k.a Liddy is extremely pale, thin and bony. That makes it easy for her to run, crawl in small spaces or hide in skinny places. Her face is unusually cheery and bright, plus covered to the maximum in freckles, especially under her eyes and around the bridge of her nose. Lidia has long legs, even though she's tiny. Her usual outfit everyday is a brightly colored tank top with a crazy designed cotton sweater. She loves anything denim, and always as something made of that on, like jeans, shorts or skirts. She likes to add color and designs to the denim also. Her favorite shoes are her obnoxious rainbow flip-flops, or on chilly or snowy days, her laced purple and black cowboy boots. To describe Liddy in one word: Colorful. Very, very colorful.

Personality -
Lidia Hawn (She doesn't like using her last name) acts just like she dresses and appears. She's loud and usually can't stop talking. She shares her opinion with everyone and anyone. She loves to have a ton of friends with her at most times, and can be hyper every now and then. She's nice to most people, unless they othered her once or so. Liddy loves joking around and is a big daredevil. She can't stand guns or major weapons, because they lead to her being immortal (See 'Bacround'). Even through her happy fest, she can be serious when it's time to be, ut during those situations she likes to try and get people to lighten up. She's clever, but sometimes she acts befor eshe thinks everything through. Lidia is cable of hurting people, but only does that when the time comes or they irritate her enough. She does happen to have a short temper really, just keeps her anger inside most of the time. Lidia, not once in her life has ever been shy nor kept a secret, unless it's big enough. She does tend to get in trouble at school, especially from her loud mouth.

Background -
Lidia first lived on the edge of Paris, England her whole life. Her parents gave her enough attention, being an only child. She had any life a girl could dream of. Unlimited clothes, shopping sprees everyday, and money to last forever. She had a wonderful life up to awhile ago. Being rich and all had it's down sides. They wee constantly targeted by criiminals, whatever the reason. Lidia didn't know this but her parents had a deadly enemy. It first started when her parents first owned a big company. One man had offered them money to give him the ownership instead. Lidia's parents loved their job and turned his offer down. He tried again, and the same thing happened. The man got furious and now wanted the company more than ever. This still goes on constantly. Liddy had no clue on what was happening until this man broke into their house in the middle of the night. Lidia had still been awake, and watched fearfully as he snuck into her parent's bedroom and shot them. The man spotted her and tried shooting her, but the bullet went through and Liddy didn't seem that affected. The murderer, shocked, fleed and never came back, nor was seen again. Lidia buried her parents, making up a story to anyone that wondered what happened. Instead of taking her all of her parents wealth, she took half and ran off to find an explanation on why her wound was completely healed and she was alive.

Powers -
Besides being immortal, Lidia can change her appearance for a short while, without fainting. She can turn into any living person, but when she turns back her eyes always change a different color and stay that way, unless she doesn't morph for a day or so, then they'll change back. It matters on her mood. If she morphs and she's mad, they'll be red. If she's sad, they'l be blue, and so on. This power tires her more than anything, and if she stays in a form other than herself for more than an hour she'll faint or fall asleep for a very long time. Lidia's second, and last power is mind. She can read or control others thoughts and emotions. But he can't block someones thoughts out, so when she goes in heavily crowded areas she can hear everyone's thoughts and gets overwhelmed easily. When controlling someone, it takes the upmost amount of concentration, and she usually can't do it fully, but she's been practicing. Also, thanks to her loud mouth she tends to blurt things out that she hears.

Side -
Good

Other -
Nope! Might make another sometime soon. :D
This is the longest form I've ever done, I think.
Coo'.

Full Name -
Luke Mac Denn

Gender -
Male

Age -
Fifteen

Description -
Luke's appearance is much like his personality, which you will see later. He's a little taller than most people, around five feet nine inches, or maybe closer to to around six feet. He weighs a fair amount for a fifteen year old boy, most of it muscle than fat, from keeping in shape over the long years. His hair is a messy, tangled pale blond, and he never bothers to comb through it, making it look more of a white color in general. He has dark, moss green eyes, that seem to bore into your head at times. His tanned skin and fairly dark look tends to attract attention, so he tries to sort of blend in with a dark, nice fitting denim jean jacket with a plain white t-shirt underneath. His favorite pair of jeans are ragged and worn, but he doesn't care. He also always wears boots that go up to about his shin and are a battered, rough looking brown. They are also worn and have some holes in them, but they keep him warm enough during long winters. Luke, naturally, has long legs, making his favorite skill running, giving his hair and body that 'wind-whipped' kind of look. He also has a special metal chain with him, usually in his pocket or around his neck, from his father. Luke also has a decent accent, coming from Germany, and his full German name is Dachs Conrad Gebhard.

Personality -
Luke really isn't thst quiet or shy. He's generally obnoxious and humorous, always showing off to impress people he likes, if he likes anyone. He's good at making people do what he wants by asking them and showing off his best crooked smile, especially girls. He has his own opinion in most things, and likes hanging out with the wrong people, hence Mason and the immortal group. He doesn't like messing up at all, but does imost times anyway, wether he likes it or not. Dachs, which, by the way, he hates to be called, is actually quite clever and curious, usually finding out things he doesn't care enough about or doesn't want to know about. Luke is a big joker and tends to make fun of ideas, or adding gross details and things. He loves the idea of world domination and immortal girls in thr group. (xD) He speak things out often, teasing others that aren't on his side, or sometimes, are. He also tends to try and get the quieter people to lighten up. Anyone who tries to be nice to him or flirts and is not immortal, he just brushes them off with a sneer or nasty retort. Though he tends to try and stay away from normal mortals, for unknown reasons.

Background -

Luke grew up in Bavaria, Germany during the time where Adolf Hitler was greatly honored by Germans. His family was fairly wealthy. Though his family didn't like all the choices Hitler made, actually, none, and helped the Jewish people. They did this secretly for two years straight. Luke was fourteen when the Nazis found out, taking his parents away and shooting them. Luke lived on his own for another year, when the war was close to ending. One day he was out, heading toward a Polish city to continue what his parents started, when he overheard some Nazi men talking about a missinng child, where his parents were traitors to their country. When the Nazi's spotted the young boy, they noticed he was the one they were talking about. One stupid man shot at him. The bullet hit Dachs straight in the heart, and didn't do anything. Furious, and seeking revenge, Luke launched at the spooked and horrified warriors and killed one, and the other eventually got away, but just in time. Luke ran from his home, traveling all over the world until he found Mason and the group. His lived secretly since then, changing with the stlyes and routines over the years.

Powers -
Besides being immortal, Luke can shapeshift into any animal that's not extinct at the present time. Though, if he stays much to long in that form the real animal instints slowly start to take over him, and if he doesn't morph back in time his human-ness will fade away and he'll stay that certain animal forever. This also leaves him with good hearing and eyesight all the time, but not extra advanced or anything, just better than a normal human. Luke can also bend emotions of other beings. He can make someone feel the opposite of what they are feeling, and so on. This makes him horribly tired, but he doesn't need much concentration. It doesn't work on anyone who has mind powers, either.

Side -
Bad

Other -
Nope!

(OH, well, if you insis- YES.)

Kalie Parker sat down at the table of the cafe that she regularly visited, The Crescent, named after the way that the special material in the windows reflected the moon beautifully at night. Kalie sat down at what she considered her table, the one in far back, next to the window. Kalie adjusted her scarf, staring at her reflection in the window to check, and nodded somberly at the pale faced, minty eyed girl that stared back at her. Kalie nearly jumped when she realized that she waitress was standing over her, pen ready to start scribbling down the order, she looked up apologetically at the older lady, who's hair was a snowy white.
"Mornin', darling, may I take your order?" Kalie internally shuddered at the Texan drawl that was this woman's accent.
"Um, yes, I'd like a coffee, cream and sugar, please, and that's all, please," Kalie stumbled over her words nervously, mentally cursing herself. Kalie talked with as few people as possible, and had done so for the past nine years, she hadn't had time to improve, or gain, for that matter, any social skills. Kalie'd been missing since 2001, and didn't like taking any risks, if she didn't have to. Kalie watched, while digging her nails into the leathery booth fabric, as the woman handed the order to a young man behind the counter, before turning away and staring at the people that walked in small little groups past the cafe. It was only 8:30am, but everybody in Maplewood, Washington, got up early, whether it was for work, school, or just to visit the various, very homey shops and diners around the tiny town. Kalie knew that she could never leave it, though in everybody else's minds, she already had.
Kalie gnawed on the left side of her inside cheek, watching the people curiously. There were business men and women, children on their way to school, tourists, who were easy to spot out, and then the occasional kid that wasn't in school, like herself, but nobody in town noticed truancy, especially from her, after all, Kalie, technically, didn't exist.

Katerine Liv Grimiore.
Katie Olivia Grimm.
Karoline Olive Grim.
Pseudos. Different names.
Ones that don't belong to the girl who held the three different passports. The only one that was real, was, of course, the first, her given name. The one that was on her birth certificate, the one that her parent's had chosen, out of all the names in the world. That name belonged to a girl who lived in England and died when her parents did two years ago, and who was buried in a cemetery not three blocks away from her mansion that now belonged to another girl, another family. The second one was her most recent name, one she had used for the past year, Katie Olivia was a girl from the small town of Maplewood, WA, straight 'A' student, a little odd, and had the brightest green eyes you would ever see, but Katie wasn't in school today. Her mother had called, she was from England, and said that Katie was sick, but in reality, Liv wasn't sick, nor did she have a mother. She had snuck into a home near the school called it while the family that lived there was out and claimed it was a cell phone number that might not be reachable again. By the time the school had picked up on her dissapearance, she would be across the contry, using her newest name: Karoline Olive Grim, a girl of sixteen who dissapeared from her home in Vermont, only to relocate to the Carolina's. Liv hated living like this, always on the run, always terrified someone would find her out, and take her to the police, put her in the Child Safety services, but the only way Liv could think to servive was to stay out of sight and out of mind until she was eighteen and could legally apply to be a U.S. citizen, until then, she was stuck on the run.
Right now, Liv was walking down the rainy streets in Maplewood, her bag slung across her shoulder and her long hair dangling in front of her face. She had dyed it again, back to the blood red it was before she came to Maplewood, to everyone else, she was just a traveler, just passing through. Blinking up at the over-cast sky, Liv sighed, there were too many tourists around here, she was starting to get a bit peeved at everyone, thinking she was one of the obsessive goths that were after their Edwin Sullen or some weirdo teen angst vampire novel. Liv was a reader, sure, but she stuck with the things that pertained to her journies, always keeping quiet and reading in her head, because, well, if she read aloud, something might come out, and last time that happened on the run, she had twenty four hours to change her hair to a bleach blonde, call herself Suzie and get on a plane to Michigan. It hadn't been good at all. Liv tucked a piece of white hair behind her ear and ducked into a small diner on the street. Going straight up to the counter, she sighed and ordered a small coffee and a sausage biscuit before sitting down at a booth in the back, near another girl, maybe a year or so younger than her, that girl should've been with her family, smiling and being happy while she had time, you never knew what was going to happen. Liv sighed softly, drinking a sip of her coffee and burning her tongue. Starting to curse up a storm in her head, she mumbled to herself about her bad luck and bit into her sausage, at least that tasted semi-decent. It was worth the five dollars she had left of American money.

Lidia swallowed, glancing out of the airport window. She had arrived to Maplewood, WA. just now, and she was ready to start a new life, at least for a little while. Being immortal had it's down sides, besides being able to stay alive forever. She had no problem changing her looks or name. She simply search a citizen up, even if they wern't out of town. She'd change her appearance and leave. Right now she was under the name Alice Mortenson, who was luckily, on vacation in the Ozarks for a week. She had been Alice for about ten minutes so far. Lidia Myer was gone, missing, according to her small town in Paris. 'Alice' smiled slightly, waiting patiently for her turn to leave the airport. She barely had any American money left, but she would just pickpocket credit cards and wallets easily. Everyone would blame Alice if they found out. Liddy brushed her pale blonde hair out of her face, rushing out of the airport has fast as possible. She spotted a deserted alley in no time and turned in it, disappearing from sight of onlookers and noisy tourists. She closed her eyes and concentrated. She suddenly felt smaller and opened her eyes. She was back to her normal appearance, as Lidia Hawn. The fourteen year-old girl spotted a shard of glass on the ground and peered in. Her eyes were a deep green at the moment. Apparently she had been feeling normal and content when she turned to Alice. Lidia slipped out of the ally silently, watching to see if anyone had spotted her. She glanced around, looking for somewhere small and not that busy. Her head was starting to hurt from all the voices of Maplewood citizens. She could tell people were looking at her, mostly because of her bright hair and obnoxious clothes. She smiled slightly, making her way through the fairly busy street. She did a quick 360 and spotted a small diner close enough for her to stay in and relax for a moment. Whisking the door open she peered around, strolling toward the counter. She stood on her lip-toes to be as tall as the staff. She ordered just a regular coffee. She found a booth and sat in it, near two other girls, who looked a year or so older. Liddy put her head on her hands as she waited for her order.
"Here's your coffee, miss." Said a tall, nice-looking man. She nodded, smiling bightly at him. He turned, walking away. Lidia took her coffee and sipped it carefully, listening to others thoughts calmly. She glanced at the waiter, who was sneaking looks at her often.
She looks much to colorful for Maplewood Wears she from? He thought. Liddy wrinkled her nose and nearly choked on her coffee, listening carefully to teh two girls thoughts

Kalie nearly fell off the wrinkled, leathery booth when someone walked into the diner, her head had started pounded as soon as the girl neared the door. Kalie stiffened, regaining her posture, before burying her head in her hands, staring at the banged up table. Kalie watched the girl sit in a booth near her's, out of the corner of her eye. Kalie decided that the girl had to have been around her age, give or take a year, but shouldn't she be in school?
Kalie bit her lip until it bled, her headache started to intensify as another girl walked through the door, looking as if she had walked straight out of the picture on the front of the Candyland game, she had to be around her age as well, take a year or two, but again, shouldn't she be in school? Kalie gripped the edge of the table, taking her coffee shakily from the waitress with the Texas drawl, who watched her for a long moment, eyes flickering with concern, before she went back and served other customers. Kalie glanced at the teenage girls, her headache still pounding and the blood roaring in her ears. Kalie was on high alert, there was something about them, something that wasn't right. They were teenagers, they weren't in school, and.. and.. There just something that wasn't right.
Kalie stood up, unsteady for a moment before she managed to regain her balance before walking slowly over to the obviously older girl.
"Shouldn't you be in school?" Kalie asked, blinking in confusion as her headache died down slightly. Kalie adjusted her bright red scarf nervously, her minty eyes drilling into the older girl. "I didn't think there was an off-school holiday today, but if there is, enlighten me," Kalie raised an eyebrow while trying to keep her slightly muffled voice level. Kalie honestly wanted to backtrack back to her table, sit down, and pretend that she hadn't noticed them, but she couldn't, now. Kalie felt some kind of pull towards them, and she wanted to know why. Kalie couldn't stand it anymore, all the questions that constantly bubbled up in her life, she wanted at least some answers, and she wanted the answers, now.
Kalie swallowed, her throat tight, as she watched the older girl curiously, her eyes betraying the slight fear that she didn't want shining through her heavy emotional guard.

Meh, Liv thought grouchily, she hated her life, but she wasn't about to go into major detail in her thoughts and have a soul-searching moment. No, this moment was just one where she thought, My life sucks and took a bite of her sausage biscuit. That's when the brunette haired girl looked up as the door opened and saw a shorter girl come into the diner and stand on her tip-toes to order a coffee and then pick a seat dangerously close to Liv and the other chick before she looked Liv over and then the other girl. Katerine just rolled her eyes and went back to her coffee taking another smaller sip and watching the girl that had just entered the diner put her head on her hands and wait for her order. Something about the smaller girl and the one that was already in the diner intrigued her. Maybe it was the smaller girl's oddly colored clothes, or the other one's seriousness, but soon Liv was zoning out of reality and wondering about random things in the room, that was, until the serious girl, the one that had been in the diner when she had entered it abrubtly stood up and marched over to Liv like she owned the dang place. The girl looked as serious as she could be as she glared at Liv with cold mint green eyes, but when she whispered her question, and her eyes faultered, Liv knew the girl was just trying to act tough.
Whee, some action, Liv thought, looking up at the younger girl with mock interest, should she be her pseudo, or real Liv? She decided to be real Liv, because she hadn't really been a jerky sarcastic to anyone lately and fiddled with her coffee mug, before taking a sip and taking her sweet time in answering the girl's questions. "I'm not aware of any school holidays today, so I can't elighten you. But if you are looking for some sort of spiritual enlightenment, I suggest the temple down the street, the Catholic chapel three blocks down, or the plain Baptist church a mile away." She gave the girl a smirk and then shrugged, "I don't believe I owe you an answer to your question about school, for all you know I could be homeschooled, for all you know, I couldn't really be here, and I could be a delusion you're having right now." Liv took a bite of her sausage, finishing it off and giving the girl a small smile, "Unless you are the daughter of the President, then I don't owe you anything, unless, of course, I somehow forgot that I murdered your puppy or you rubbed my lamp and I owe you three wishes. Then, If I am a genie, go right ahead, I want to see how many of the three I can warp drastically out of context." Liv gave the girl a grin before standing up and finishing off her coffee, towering over the younger girl, "I would suggest you back off of me, twerp, before I make you back off." Liv glared down at her finally, getting to the end of her little rant and challenging the girl, she could and would incenerate the girl if she talked again and not bat an eye at doing it in front of these witnesses. She'd never left a town with a bang, and had always wanted to try. Maybe burning a diner down would be sufficient enough for her?

Lidia Myer swallowed, her mouth burning from too much coffee. She listened to the girls thoughts, fairly alarmed. It sounded like they were just like Lidia. She clutched her coffee cup, digging her nails into it. She watched warily as one girl went up to the other, asking if she was in school. Well, then. Shouldn't they BOTH me in school? Even Liddy should be, but that was never going to happen. Ever. School is overrated. She thought miserably, sipping the last of her coffee slowly. She debated if she should to go over there and talk to the girls before it got worse. She raised an eyebrow when the older girl stood up and glared at the one with the mint green eyes. Liddy slipped out of her booth, walking over to the trash can and dumping her empty cup in. She looked up, eyeing the girls before walking over. She waited until the older one stopped yelling at the mint-eyed girl before peering up at her, her mouth in a tight line. She clasped her hands behind her back and stood on her tip toes, still not as tall as the others.
"Maybe you guys should just go back to running away from everybody so they don't find out your not..." She trailed off, biting her lip when memories flooded back to her. She glanced back down at the floor, waiting for one of them to break the silence. She felt her cheeks redden slightly, but Lidia ignored it.

Kallie had never wanted to hurt anyone, not so much as a fly, but the girl in the diner changed all that. Kalie wanted to hit her upside the head, punch her, kick her, for being so sarcastic towards her, Kalie had never experienced someone so horribly rude. After all, this was her town, there were streets and parks and memorials dedicated to her, and the day that her family and herself died, they dedicated that day to them, it's a friggin' holiday, so nobody, in their right minds, spoke to Kalie Leigh Parker that way, no matter how old they were. Kalie stood up on her tiptoes to gain the few inches that this sixteen year old had on her, and glared at her in the eye.
"I was asking a simple question, brat, you don't have to reply with attitude, which I suggest you check," Kalie said, her jaw taut with anger. Kalie suddenly realized something, that this girl, whoever she was, was another immortal. Kalie blinked, looking over her shoulder at the smaller girl, who looked terrified before she said something that confirmed all her suspicions. "Go back to hiding from everyone before they find out your not.." Kalie's eyes widened slightly. Kalie glanced out the window, and cursed under her breath. There were two police officers, glancing at all three girls, and talking, obviously about the fact that they weren't in school.
Kalie gaped, trembling slightly. If they were caught, they'd ask for names, and Kalie was a terrible liar. Kalie looked at the older girl, then glanced at the younger girl, then said in a low voice, "You're both hiding. You're both.. like.. Immortal. Right? If not, I'm crazy and that's alright, but you need to follow me before the cops come in here and ask for names because we're not in school, which I'm sure we'd all love to get in trouble for." Kalie nodded, looking at the two girls anxiously. If she was wrong, she was caught, then and there, but if she was right.. Kalie looked back and forth between the girls.

Liv assumed that the way she felt now, was the way a very angry dog would feel after someone had just yelled at it. "I am sixteen, kid, you have no right to yell at me because you walk around like some God-sent hero asking a bunch of up the a-" Katerine froze, looking at the smaller girl with a shocked expression, Go back to running, Oh. My. Gosh. Liv thought running a hand through her crazed hair and looking at the two other girls before turning and looking out the window, following the eye of the one with the mint green eyes. Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot! DARNIT. Liv cursed, five minutes, five minutes wasted argueing with these two girls, and now there were cops that were eyeing the trio like they were pieces of meat. Liv's head swung back to meet the girl's eyes that she had fought with, the one that had just outright said that her and the tiny girl were Immortals, exposing them just like that. She gave the girl a look before cursing under her breath and looking pointedly at the door, "Okay, I'm only going to say this once, I'm sorry for shouting and acting like a jerk, but since you obviously know what I am, I'm going to let it slide and agree with you. We better get the heck out of here before Good Cop and Bad Cop come in and decide they want to play a game."
Sure, Liv was more then ready for a good fight, it would be a chance to show the other two what she was capable of, but one, she didn't want to freak out the Americans that kept walking past the diner windows and two, she didn't want to drain herself of possible energy, energy that she needed to get away with. "I'm Liv," She muttered, her English accent full force in those two simple words, "And we'd better get the bloody heck out of here before they get to the door." It was true, the two cops had decided to saunter across the street, looking very serious as they headed towards the door to the diner. It was too late. Cop One opened the door and slowly walked into the diner, followed by Cop two, and Liv had a feeling that the two of them weren't here for business, as each of them had their hands planted firmly on their sides. Cop One walked over to them and mumbled something, that sounded like 'Aren't you kids supposed to be in school?' before Liv firmly glared back at the two cops and stated, "I'm not going to lie, I'm here because my friend's dog died today, and I'm here for support." She pointed to the short girl, she looked young enough, "Start crying kid," Liv whispered lowly, as the two cops looked at me strangely and then slowly took out their batons. "We don't want to use force, but if we have to..." One trailed off, looking at Two. Liv glared at them both and felt her eyes start to turn a blood red, no, she couldn't bring out her powers now, they'd all get in trouble. She tried to keep her anger in check, hoping that one of the other girls would have a plan, anything would help advert the cop's from Liv while she tried to get her eyes to turn back to their normal green.

Lidia snorted as the girls fought again, ready to hurt each other, when suddenly they both FINALLY noticed what she said and came to figure out they were all immortal. Then she noticed them both looking out the window worridly and the older one started randomly saying nicer stuff to the Mint-eyed one. Lidia raised an eyebrow, and before she knew it, two cops were standing over her and the others. She glared at the older girl when she said she was suppose to cry. Pretending to tremble slightly, she looked up at the cops, blinking tears out of her eyes. She gulped when she saw the batons, but didn't give up yet.
"My poor poor dog. Her name was Missy, and she and cancer." Lidia sniffed, staring straight at one cop. She smiled weakly, her mind focused as much as possible. "Y-You wouldn't want to hurt someone who just lost a dog they cared about, right?" She asked, looking up at them, especially at the first one.
Leave. You never saw us. She thought, directly at the first cop. His hard gaze suddenly became confused, and he stepped back slightly.
"We.. Don't." The confused police officer mumbled slowly, glaring at cop two. Lidia brightened.
"Great! Bye!" She said cheerfully, waving her hand dismissivly. She crossed her arms, rocking back and forth on her heels nervously, hoping her mind power worked fully. Even if the cops were leaving, they would surely be back, or Liddy might not have had enough concentration or they'll turn and stalk back to the three girls. She swallowed, watching the officers warily. Lidia knew they were going to have to get out of the diner, and fast.

Kalie watched, bewildered, as the cops suddenly looked confused and left the diner quietly. Kalie stared at the smaller girl for a moment, confused herself, before shaking her head, her jet black hair swinging back and forth.
"I don't want to know," Kalie muttered, adjusting her scarf nervously. "That's going to cost us, people in the diner are looking at us now, it's not often three teenage girls are stopped by the cops," Kalie spoke in a low tone, looking around anxiously. "We need to get out of here," Her voice was barely audible, only able to be heard by the two other immortals standing on either side of her.
Kalie composed herself, trying to act like she had every right to be there, then turned around and nodded at the lady behind the counter, before flitting past the counter toward the bathroom. Kalie knew for a fact that there was a big enough vent for all three of them to crawl through that ended up in the back of the diner.
Kalie paused, turning on her heel slightly, "Coming, guys?" Kalie asked the two other girls, the two other immortals, as if they were her friends, her tone light and casual.
Kalie looked at them expectantly, hoping they followed her lead and came.

OOC:. Sorry, I had to eat supper, of this would have been up hours ago.

Liv stared at the girl as she just up and created a story, that the cops looked like they didn't believe, until one of them stepped back, like they were confused and just walked out of the door, like nothing had ever happened and they hadn't even approached the girls. She looked at the small girl with raised eyebrows and muttered her favorite English phrase, "Wicked." She turned and looked at the other girl while rolling her eyes, "Don't be a worry-wart, sure they're looking at us, we're three freaking teens that are supposed to be in school, who cares about the bloody cops? We can just saunter out the door." But the other girl didn't seem like she was listening, she was just walking off towards the bathroom like Liv hadn't said anything at all. "Bugger," Liv muttered scornfully, sulking behind the girl and hopeing that the shortest of the trio was coming along, because she seemed like she could take care of herself, even though she was a tiny little thing. Liv briefly wondered what their names were, having already said hers. Heck, she had been the one to tell the taller girl off, and she was the one that had been polite enough to introduce herself. Morons. She motioned for the shortest girl to get a move on before dissapearing into the bathroon behind the other girl, "Now what's this all about?" Liv asked, one they were all in here, glaring at the girl that had taken the lead, "And can you please tell me your names, unless you'd like me to call you Thing 1 and Thing 2."

OOC: So short! Sorry!

Lidia scowled scornfully at the older girls thoughts. She sauntered after them, eyeing the older girls cautiously. They stopped in the bathroom, and Lidia put her hands in her colorful sweatshirt casually.
"Okay, I might as well start. I'm Lidia Myer, born in Paris, England. My parents were killed by some random man. I can change my appearance and read or control someone's mind. Thate's what I did to the cops." She started, then puased, glaring at the older girl. "While we're on that topic, I'm not from Candyland, and I'm not that short enough to be tiny." She shot at her, crossing her arms to make sure her point got across. It wasn't fair that hr family had to be so... Small. It irritated her to no end. Apparently the older one was a bit full of herself. LIdia gazed at them both, tilting her head slightly. She brushed a strand piece of bright pink hair out of her eyes, covering a yawn with her mouth. Her eyes wandered over the rows of stalls and sinks, then to the vent the mint-girl was thinking about usuing. Lidia wrinkled her nose and unfolded her arms. Hm. Her idea might work, but maybe I'll just change my appearance back to Alice. But then people will notice taht girl never entered.... Ugh. Lidia sighed, pulling herself up to sit on the corner of the couter teh sinks were on, so she was face to face with the other immortals.

"I'm Kalie Parker. I was born and raised here in Maplewood, my parents were killed in a car crash and I survived the crash, I went missing in 2001," Kalie said quickly, tucking a piece of dark hair behind her ear as she spoke, "Um. I can become invisible for periods of time, though it drains most of my energy, and.. I got a horrible headache when you two walked in the room, I think it has something to do with the fact that your both immortals," Kalie shrugged dismissively, before turning to the other girl, who appeared to be older than both Lidia and herself, "You know, we could walk out the door, but then we'd be taken down to the police station and asked to call our parents, trust me, I know this town," Kalie eyed the girl irritably. Kalie was the expert on this town, she'd lived here all her life, all fifteen years, and then the nine she'd been missing. "It'd be fine if it was just one of us, but not all three, it's too suspicious, besides, this ways cooler." Kalie gestured to the large vent. "It goes straight to the back of the diner, we can get away from there, the cops are out front," Kalie decided logically, her mint eyes looking back and forth between the youngest and the oldest of the small, three person group.
Kalie, suprisingly, wasn't all that nervous. She didn't have to pretend she wasn't an immortal, didn't have to pretend she'd been missing for the past nine years, didn't have to pretend she wasn't normal, so for the first time when talking to someone, she wasn't stuttering or tripping over her words. Kalie hadn't had many friends before she'd gone "missing", but she'd wanted to, it just seemed like nobody wanted to talk to her, her aunt used to make jokes about her having an "anti-people bubble" around her that repelled anyone that thought about talking to her. Kalie liked the fact that there was a possibility that these immortals could be her.. friends? Kalie watched the two other teenagers curiously.

Liv gave the tiny one, Lidia, an even look at her comment about her thoughts and glared, Read them if you want, but not everything you are going to hear is going to sit well with you. The one with the mint green eyes was named Kalie, she had acted like she had owned the place before, now Liv knew, she figured that since she had lived here, she had a right to rule everyone, but Liv wasn't playing that game. "My given name is Katerine Liv Grimiore." She stated, the last of the trio to formally introduce herself, "I was born and raised in the moors of England, and my parents were killed by two men, whom I later took care of." The memory flashed her her mind, blurry from tears as she looked down at her parents bodies and her own bloddy hands from murdering their killers. Let Lidia see what she wanted, Liv wasn't taking instructions from anyone. She continued, briefly with her powers, glancing in one of the mirrors to confirm that her eyes had gone from the blood red back to their normal green. "I can control all four of the elements." Liv started, pausing to collect her thoughts, "I have four... forms, you could call them. Four different versions of me that kick in when I'm using that particular power." She blew out a breath, "I can also read things out of books, anything, from a character to a grain of sand, as long as that book has it in there." Liv blinked at the two girls before motioning to the vent, "We'd better get a move on, in case the police decide to burst into a public restroom."
-Flashback-
"Mum?" Liv whispered, walking down the stairs slowly, "Dad?" It was her former fourteen year old self, clad in jeans and a loose tee-shirt with the 'Harry Potter' emblem on it, "Hello? Where'd you guys go?" She padded through the hallway and straight into the living room, where her parent's jumped out from behind pieces of furniture and grinned, throwing handfulls of confetti everywhere.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Her mother called, sweeping her up into a hug and smiling as her father snapped a couple of pictures, "We've gotten you a vanilla cake, your favorite, and guess what it has on it!" Liv blinked, looking down at the cake before she started to grin, it quickly spreading across her face. 'Happee Birthdae Livv' was spelled out sloppily in bright pink icing, on top of a pink cake.
Her father nudged her with a wink, "I might have sat on it a couple of times, but it'll all taste the same."

Lidia rolled her eyes at Liv, listening to Kalie half-heartidly introduce herself. Lidia twitched slightly when Liv suddenly remembered the killing of her parents. Ouch. She straighted out the pictures swirling around her her head, that wouldn't disappear. She shuddered again, the glanced wearily over at the older girl, who was now speaking her own name and past. Lidia narrowed her eyes slightly, her feet swinging back and forth in a strange pattern.
"Anyway... I'll go first through the vent, if you guys want. I'll fit the best." She admitted, folding her arms carefully on her chest. "But if you two want to go first sure thing." She offered hopefully, glancing back at the vent then at the two other immortals. She focused on the older one. "And, might I point out, I don't have a CHOICE to listen to your thoughts. I'd rather not." She snapped back, watching her carefully.
Suddenly the girl got a flashback, and Lidia saw it also. She raised an eyebrow, and waited impatiently until iv snapped back to reality again. Hmm. She seemed to have had a fair enough past, until her parents death, of course. Same with herself. That's one thing they had in common, apparently. Then Lidia got an idea. What if there were more immortals? What were they even created for, anyway? Just to be alive forever? That would be pretty boring, give or take.

Whatever it was that Liv, the eldest of the small, three person group, was thinking, Kalie was absolutely and utterly sure that she didn't want to know. They had the same basic stories, their parents had been killed, they'd managed to live through whatever harm would've killed a normal human, and then they'd left wherever they'd lived, all with the exception of her, of course. Kalie had lived in Maplewood for the fifteen years that she'd thought she was normal, and then the extra nine she'd been missing, according to everybody in the town. Kalie adjusted her scarf again, trying not to dwell on the fact that she'd never grow up, that she'd be stuck as a teenager forever, technically, Kalie Parker was twenty-four, but of course, she looked fifteen, which meant she'd never be able to drive, never be able to go to college, never be able to be an adult.
Kalie shook her head at the reluctant Lidia, "No, it's fine, I'll go first, there's a series of different vents, it gets confusing," Kalie shrugged, getting down on her hands and knees, and crawling into the vent, fitting easily. Kalie kept crawling until she reached what looked like an intersection of vent passageways. Kalie stopped, turning her head the best she could so that Lidia and Liv could catch up. Kalie waited impatiently, hoping the vent was big enough for Liv to fit, Kalie had no doubts that Lidia could.

Liv simply glared at Lidia when she said that she couldn't help reading her thoughts. I don't care, get out of my head. She hissed in her head, watching Kalie crawl up into the vent. Waiting for Lidia to follow, Liv debated whether or not she would fit. She was a whole lot taller then the other two, and, well, a bit more filled in. She eyed the tiny hole with a glare before decideding that if she didn't fit, Liv would simply walk away from the other two like nothing had happened. Let the two cops find Liv, they would be handed a can of kick-butt from yours truely. Without thinking, Liv cracked her knuckles, wondering if one of her other power forms was smaller than her main, but she always kept the same body type. Scowling, she heaved herself up into the vents before she started getting stuck as she moved. "Crud, guys, we've got a problem..." Liv hissed, looking at the smaller space in front of her, claustrophobia was setting in quickly. Thinking back to the days when she was at school, she muttered, "Heat... He makes things expand... Guys, I'd get as far ahead as possible, If I power up and can't get through the vent system, it's going to blow a hole in the ceiling, then I'll just fly out the top." Liv gave a little half smirk, like the idea pleased her... Which it kind of did. That was the sad part.

OOC:. EDIT: I posted my two forms on my origional post! Go check them out!

Lidia wrinkled her nose, glaring at Liv fiercly, and in annoyance. She watched carefully as Kalie climbed in the vent, making sure to remember how she did it. Then Liv shot back things at Lidia in her mind, and she just shook her head and shrugged boredly, ignoring the older gir. It'd take awhile for her to understand. Lidia smirked slightly when Liv got stuck in the tiny vent.
"Alright, I might just take the easy way out now." She mused, her tinkerbell laugh sounding through. She smiled slightly, hopping down from the bathroom counter and peering up into the small vent. She could easily fit in it with a fair distance away from her and Liv, thank goodness. She knew that they wouldn't be good friends soon, maybe never. It would take good time. Though Kalie seemed detirmined to make sure they all like each other, almost as best friends. Right.
She grabbed the edge of the vent and jumped, grasping it tightly. She pulled herself in and sat in the vent, panting slightly. "Man, I could sit cross-legged in here." She snickered lightly, looking at Liv curiously when she started saying something about blowing the vent up if needed. That would surely put on a decent show. Though it could be fairly dangerous for Kalie and herself also. She shook her head, scooting slightly closer to her two immortal compainions. Liv was right, heat expanded things some.
